I am the oldest of five girls.  We just had our first nephew and are not quite sure what to do with a boy except spoil him rotten.  Recently, I returned to St Louis, my hometown with a fiancé and dog in tow.

I say returned to St Louis because I left about 13 years ago to explore other parts of the country and ultimately the world.

I started by exploring the South and living in Atlanta.  Then I went overseas where I lived in Stockholm for a while when a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel the world presented itself.  It was my responsibility to execute a sponsorship for a major telecommunications company through the inaugural Volvo Ocean Race 2001/2. I got the chance to be involved again in 2005/6 so I guess it is a twice-in-a-lifetime chance. This is where I got involved with mobile marketing and social media, way before Twitter and Face Book existed or became what they are today.  I am pretty sure I had one of the original smart phones in 2001, the Ericsson R380.

Upon returning to the States, I decided to move to the mountains. I closed my eyes and pointed to a map - landed in Breckenridge, CO.  In Breckenridge, I enjoyed all things outdoors except skiing. I know, but I like my knees the way they are. I stopped playing soccer before I had to have surgery and was not going to jeopardize that with skiing.  I snowshoed, cross-country skied, hiked, camped and loved the lack of humidity (have you noticed my curly hair in pictures?)

When we left the mountains, we went from living high up on a hill and pretty isolated to smack dab in the middle of the city.  Loving every minute of it, except for those hot and humid days.  Forgot what humidity feels like.  But love the lack of winter.  Remembering everything is relative.
